Q1 2017 Brokerage Activity reached over $22 million in transactions

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – 2017 started off with solid sales and leasing activity throughout Birmingham. Lease highlights include a 92,000 SF lease for Southern Tire Mart by Seth Berry, Action Resources Inc.’s expansion into the former Parisian Building by David Spencer and popular restaurant Bartaco’s lease at the Edgewood Station redevelopment project by Michael Murray. In total, the Shannon Waltchack brokerage team conducted over $22 million in transactions during the first quarter.

• Ali Wilburn represented Funches Planning Practice in the lease of 908 SF of office space at Two Perimeter Park from Barber Companies.

• Ali Wilburn represented 1818 Building, LLC in the lease of 3,600 SF at 1755-1759 Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa to Omar Avieneda.

• Ali Wilburn represented the sellers in the sale of 27 acres located behind Patton Creek to Patton Creek Investors, LLC.

• Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Hallman Hill, LLC in the renewal of 1,281 SF at 350 19th Street South to Genesis Nail Spa.

• Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Chelsea Crossings, LLC in the renewal of 8,000 SF at 16054 US Highway 280 to Dollar Tree Stores, Inc.

• Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Lake Crest Partners, LLC in the lease of 2,943 SF at Lake Crest Center, 2321 John Hawkins Parkway to Dr. Stuart Atkinson. Mike Jorgenson of Carr Healthcare Realty represented the tenant.

• Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Johns Creek Partners, LLC in the renewal of 1,400 SF to SIGARO INC at 4090 Johns Creek Pkwy in Johns Creek, GA.

• Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Paramount Partners, LLC in the lease renewal of 10,000 SF at 204 20th Street North (Paramount Building) to Action Resources. The tenant was represented by David Spencer.

• Andrew Patterson, CCIM represented Alabama Outdoors in the lease of 4,200 SF of retail space at Homestead Village in Trussville. Miller Terry of Blackwater Resources, LLC represented the landlord.
