Greg is a vital part of the Shannon Waltchack Investments Team, acting as the owner’s representative for all Shannon Waltchack portfolio properties. He acts as the decision-maker, managing property operations, underwriting acquisitions, evaluating properties and reporting. He works with the Property Management and Leasing Teams to provide budgeting, analysis, and investment services.

Greg attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, where he earned a BBA with High Distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business. After business school, Greg joined CohnReznick and was a member of the Real Estate Consulting team, working to close LIHTC, NMTC, HTC and Solar tax credit transactions for developer clients.  After successfully earning an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2015, he was responsible for underwriting multifamily deals for the investment sales team at  Cushman & Wakefield, as well as underwriting in excess of $375M of Agency/CMBS loans at MCube Financial in Charlotte before joining Shannon Waltchack.

A Birmingham native, Greg is an avid basketball, golf and football fan and supports the University of Alabama, as well as his two schools, UM and UNC. Additionally, he enjoys being outside and loves to hike and golf.
