Cynthia Essary joined the team in 2019 as the Accounting Manager.  She provides general oversight of Accounting items including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and other Corporate Accounting functions.

Originally from Tennessee, Cynthia Essary made several stops before settling in Alabama.  She started her career in Washington D.C. at the Carlyle Group with a stop in Chicago, IL at Lasalle Investment Management before landing in Birmingham.  In Birmingham she has worked at Dominion Partners Senior Living Real Estate Group and Time, Inc.

Cynthia and her husband have one son, John Edward and a dog, Lady.  She formerly served as President of the Homewood Public Library Foundation Board.  Cynthia won the Jefferson County Public Library ” 2023 Library Champion of the Year Award.” She loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, University of Tennessee sports and planning family adventures and travel.
