Michael Murray joins Shannon Waltchack with 16 years of commercial real estate experience with companies such as Harbert Realty Services, Barber Companies and Heritage Bank. His background includes financial analysis, underwriting, and real estate finance while serving in an acquisitions role for a real estate investment firm and formerly as a banker. Michael has also worked extensively with lenders and special servicers relative to the management, disposition and acquisition of distressed assets. His transactional experience ranges from leasing responsibilities for an 800,000SF office portfolio to managing national corporate real estate portfolios, which required strategic consulting and transactional execution.
Michael plans on focusing on tenant representation and investment real estate sales and acquisitions.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Auburn University. He and his wife Patricia have two daughters and attend St. Mary’s on the Highlands Episcopal Church in Birmingham. Michael enjoys golf, fishing and coaching his daughters’ sports teams.
