Matt is the brains behind the Tenant Help Desk, serving as the first point of contact with tenants who have maintenance needs. He works with the maintenance team as a dispatcher, managing work orders and working with vendors to solve problems. Matt is a pro at communicating with all parties to ensure that SW tenants and owners receive quick, reliable service. Matt also assists the property management team with financial reporting, vendor contracts, site inspections, leasing amendments, and owner meetings.
Matt grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where he was raised around the real estate industry. He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2011. Matt brings several years of residential management experience to the Shannon Waltchack team.
Matt and his wife Morgan live in Tuscaloosa. In his spare time Matt likes to read, write, do yard work and travel to National Parks and Major League Baseball stadiums.
